On the fifth day of the ongoing Women’s Day Cup in Uganda, two important matches will take place today.
The first match will be between Namibia and Hong Kong. The second match will feature the home team, Uganda, playing against Nepal. Nepal’s match is scheduled to begin at 4:45 PM (Nepal time).
Nepal Under Pressure After Three Losses
Nepal has played four matches so far, winning only one and losing three. This puts them under pressure to secure a win today.
On Saturday, Nepal lost its first match against Namibia but made a comeback by defeating Uganda. However, they later lost to Hong Kong in the third match and suffered another defeat against Namibia in the fourth match.
A Must-Win Match for Nepal
To keep their chances of finishing in the top two and reaching the final, Nepal must win today’s match against Uganda.
The winner of the first match today between Namibia and Hong Kong will secure a place in the final.
Nepal’s Last Match Tomorrow
Nepal will play its final group-stage match against Hong Kong tomorrow. The teams that do not finish in the top two will compete for third place in the tournament.
