The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced a 28-player squad for the preparation camp ahead of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier. The camp, set to begin on April 1, aims to train and refine the players before selecting the final squad for the tournament in Thailand this May.
The selected players are:
Indu Barma (C), Rubina Chhetry, Bindu Rawal, Alisha Yadav, Sana Praveen, Rajmati Airee, Roma Thapa, Kabita Kunwar, Ishwori Bist, Puja Mahato, Kabita Joshi, Manisha Upadhayay, Sabnam Rai, Seemana KC, Rachana Chaudhary, Samjhana Khadka, Riya Sharma, Rubi Poddar, Sita Rana Magar, Yashoda Bist, Anu Kadayat, Manisha Bohara, Laxmi Saud, Helisha Gurung, Kajal Shrestha, Somu Bist, Sangita Rai, and Alisha Khadiya.
This training camp will focus on improving fitness, batting, bowling, and fielding skills to enhance Nepal’s chances in the qualifier. The best-performing players from the camp will make it to the final squad representing Nepal in the Asia Qualifier.
