In the 27th February 2025 episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Armaan performs the puja with Shivani and Abhira, leaving Vidya shocked. Vidya issues an ultimatum, forcing Armaan to choose between her and Shivani. Kaveri manipulates the situation, while Abhira tries to mediate. Tensions rise as Armaan stands by Shivani, leaving the family divided.
The episode begins with Armaan performing the puja alongside Shivani and Abhira, leaving Vidya visibly unsettled. Unable to hold back, she taunts that peace never prevails in their household. Armaan intervenes, emphasizing that God does not discriminate and then invites Vidya to join the puja.
Shivani acknowledges the challenges of raising a child that isn’t her own and expresses gratitude to Vidya. However, Kaveri twists the situation, accusing Shivani of attempting to take Vidya’s place, calling it inauspicious. Abhira immediately steps in, assuring Vidya that Shivani harbors no such intentions. Armaan urges both women to settle their differences peacefully.
Feeling slighted, Kaveri shifts the blame onto Shivani and mocks Armaan for believing that Vidya and Shivani could ever reconcile. Abhira tries to reason with Vidya, but things take a drastic turn when Vidya issues an ultimatum. She demands that Armaan choose between her and Shivani, declaring that whoever he selects will be recognized as Madhav’s wife, his mother, and the Poddar family’s rightful daughter-in-law.
Stunned, Armaan refuses to make such a choice. When Shivani attempts to speak, Abhira stops her. However, Vidya remains adamant, pressing him for a decision. She then turns to Abhira, drawing parallels to her own loss of Daksh, and asks if she would have given him up after raising him. Vidya urges Abhira to help Armaan understand her stance.
Armaan, shocked by Vidya’s words, questions why she is dragging Abhira into the matter. Vidya, growing impatient, gives Armaan one day to make his decision, leaving him deeply conflicted. Kaveri seizes the moment to taunt him over the predicament.
Meanwhile, Ruhi and Rohit meet Kiara, only to be taken aback when she expresses her wish to meet the Poddars. They are further shocked to learn that Abhira had prevented her from doing so.
Elsewhere, Shivani accidentally crosses paths with Madhav, leading to an awkward encounter. Vidya tries to intervene, but Kaveri stops her.
Later, Shivani apologizes to Madhav for entering his room unintentionally. Meanwhile, Vidya confronts Kaveri for holding her back earlier. In response, Kaveri questions Vidya’s decision to corner Armaan with an ultimatum and involve Abhira in the matter. She warns that Abhira will never take Vidya’s side. Vidya admits her past attempts to separate Armaan and Abhira but acknowledges that she failed.
Shivani, desperate to maintain peace, pleads with both Vidya and Kaveri not to create a divide between Armaan and Abhira. She expresses her deep desire to stay with Armaan. However, Kaveri manipulates Shivani, warning her that if she continues to stay in the Poddar household, she risks losing both Armaan and Abhira.
Unbeknownst to them, Abhira overhears Kaveri’s words and is shocked to realize that she is deliberately trying to influence Shivani’s decisions.
