A 21-year-old man died after being crushed by his own pickup truck in Lamahi, Dang.
The victim has been identified as Rakesh Kumar Baniya of Lamahi Municipality–5, Sunkholi, according to the Lamahi Area Police Office.
The incident happened around 6:00 AM when Baniya was removing a stone placed behind the rear wheel of his parked pickup (Lu 3 Cha 4814) in front of his house. As he removed the stone, the vehicle rolled backward and crushed him.
He sustained a serious head injury and was rushed to Lamahi Hospital, but doctors declared him dead at 6:45 AM, police confirmed.
