On Shrawan 5, the Ministry of Home Affairs recommended 13 police inspectors for promotion to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP). This decision was made during a recent meeting of the promotion recommendation committee.
The ministry released a detailed list of the recommended officers, including their names, current positions, and responsibilities. Among those recommended are Basanta Gautam from the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) contact office in Nepalgunj, Panchalal Gole from the Crime Investigation Department at the Police Headquarters in Naxal, and Hom Prakash Chaudhary from the Central Investigation Unit in Surkhet.
Anil Pandit, who currently serves in the Special Court Coordination and Security Police Unit in Ramshahpath, Kathmandu, is also on the list. Others recommended for promotion include Prakash Thapa from the Economic Administration Branch of the Valley Police Office in Kathmandu, Dilip Kshetri from the Cyber Bureau in Teku, and Shekharjung Malla from the Koshi Province Police Office in Morang.
Additional names include Poshanraj Thapaliya from the District Police Office in Siraha, Raju Karki from the Supervision and Investigation Division at the Police Headquarters in Naxal, and Nishesh Chapagain from the Accounts Division of the Gandaki Province Police Office in Pokhara.
Chandra Bahadur Khadka, serving at the Crime Investigation Office in Sunsari, Hom Prasad Adhikari from Area Police Office in Sijua, Morang, and Upendra Kharel from the Complaints and Human Rights Unit at the Valley Police Office in Ranipokhari have also been recommended for promotion.
