In the past six months, 26 people have lost their lives in road accidents in Dhanusha. According to the District Traffic Office, 506 accidents occurred during this period, resulting in these fatalities.
In the same period last year, 598 accidents were reported, leading to the death of 39 people.
During the review period, the office collected Rs. 9.758 million in revenue from 12,593 vehicles for violating traffic rules. In comparison, Rs. 10.654 million was collected from 14,236 vehicles during the same period in the previous fiscal year.
