A 65-year-old woman was found dead in her room at Manmaiju Phoolbari, Tarkeshwor Municipality-10.
The deceased has been identified as Bisani Gurung, originally from Dharche Rural Municipality-4, Gorkha, who had been living in Manmaiju Phoolbari.
According to Kathmandu District Police spokesperson SP Apil Raj Bohora, she was found dead while sleeping in her room.
After receiving the information, a police team from Balaju Police Circle was sent to the scene. The body was documented and then sent to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for post-mortem.
Police have started an investigation into the incident.
