Keshar Bahadur Singh, an administrative assistant of Mahabai Municipality-3, has passed away due to a heart attack. He died at 11:15 AM at his home in Dillikot Naik, Mahabai-4, as reported by the ward chairperson, Hari Bahadur Shahi.
“He had eaten food and taken medicine for a cough, and suddenly complained of chest pain. As soon as he lay down, he passed away,” said Ward Chairperson Shahi about the incident.
Singh, 37, had been serving as the ward secretary until three months ago and worked as an administrative assistant in the same ward after joining as a permanent ward secretary through the civil service in 2058 BS (2001 AD).
The death of this experienced staff member of Mahabai Municipality has left the village in mourning, said Municipality Chairman Khem Bahadur Singh. Preparations for his post-mortem are underway today. Singh is survived by his wife, one son, and two daughters.
