Indian Motorcycle Hits Scooter in Dhanusha Woman Killed Four Injured 1

A woman riding a scooter died, and four others were injured after being hit by an Indian motorcycle with three passengers in Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City-23, Dhanusha.

The accident occurred on the Janakpur-Jaleshwar road section at around 5 PM on Saturday when an Indian motorcycle with the license plate number B.R.06 D.J.2632, heading from Jaleshwar to Zeromile, rear-ended a scooter with the license plate number J 12 P 6038.

The District Traffic Police Office in Dhanusha reported that 60-year-old Rajmari Devi, a resident of Pipra Rural Municipality-5, Mahottari, who was riding on the scooter, succumbed to her injuries. She passed away at 3 AM today during treatment at Nobel Hospital in Biratnagar.

The scooter driver, 65-year-old Kameshwar Prasad Yadav, sustained injuries and is currently receiving treatment at Janaki Health Care in Janakpur.

Three individuals on the motorcycle, along with its rider, sustained minor injuries. The injured include 29-year-old Sanjit Sah from Dadri, Sitamarhi, India; his 24-year-old wife, Ruby Sah; and 16-year-old Sushant Sah, the son of Kripal Sah from Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City-4. They are receiving treatment at Provincial Hospital in Janakpur.

The District Police Office, Dhanusha, is conducting further investigations into the incident.
