Actor Randeep Hooda is back to horse riding after spending more than two years recovering from a serious knee injury. He got hurt while working on his first film as a director, Swatantrya Veer Savarkar. The injury happened when the film was paused due to money problems. Randeep tore several ligaments in his knee and had to go through a long recovery.

A Bad Fall but Strong Willpower

To play the role of Veer Savarkar, Randeep lost a lot of weight. Because of this, he became weak and fell off a horse during practice. The fall was so bad that he fainted and tore all the ligaments in his knee. But Randeep did not quit. He used his own money to finish the film and even acted in tough scenes wearing knee braces, running in some parts, even though it made his injury worse.

Back to Doing What He Loves

After months of treatment and hard work at Kokilaben Hospital, Randeep is finally back to one of his biggest passions — horse riding. He has been riding horses for years, winning medals in polo and show jumping, and even owns polo clubs and teams.

Will He Compete Again?

Now that Randeep is back in the saddle, fans are hoping to see him compete again. He himself said, “There is no life without sports, and there is no sport without competition.”

Talking about his recovery, Randeep shared, “Like life, horse riding teaches us that after every fall, we must get back on.”

His return is a big achievement and shows how strong and determined he is. Soon, we may see him taking part in competitions again, chasing new goals, and doing what he loves most.
