Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has dismissed fears about what might happen in Kathmandu tomorrow (Friday), stating that nothing unusual will take place.
Addressing the 8th International Women Entrepreneurs Trade Fair, Prime Minister Oli remarked that minor issues were being exaggerated.
Tomorrow (Chaitra 15), the parties affiliated with the Socialist Front are set to hold a demonstration in Kathmandu in support of the federal democratic republic. Similarly, the royalist group has also planned a demonstration in the capital.
He pointed out that processions with around 10,000 to 15,000 participants take place daily and asserted that tomorrow would be no different.
“Processions of 10,000 to 15,000 people regularly take place in Nepal. There is no need to exaggerate,” said Prime Minister Oli. “One procession will be held at Bhrikutimandap, leading to a gathering, and another gathering will take place in Koteshwor. That’s all.”

“Processions of 10,000 to 15,000 people happen all the time—it’s nothing new! The same will happen tomorrow,” said the PM Oli.
Stating that such gatherings happen regularly, he urged people not to be concerned.
“These gatherings happen all the time, and the same will happen tomorrow. But there is this fear and terror being spread, as if something big is going to happen. That’s not the case. We should ignore such things and focus on our development efforts,” said Prime Minister Oli.
