Flights have been stopped at Tribhuvan International Airport.
The flights were halted due to security concerns after protesters blocked areas around the airport.
The protesters set fire in office of the authority’s main office in Sinamangal. As the fire spread into the airport area, the airport was closed for safety reasons.
The airport will remain closed until security is guaranteed, according to high-level sources.
