Maxus eT90, an all-electric pickup truck, has been officially launched in Manang. It was driven all the way from Kathmandu to the mountainous region of Manang for its debut — making it the first EV pickup launched at such a high altitude in Nepal.
Price and launch details
Himalaya Motrax Pvt. Ltd., under Himalaya Organization, introduced the Maxus eT90 in Manang. For a limited time, the pickup is priced at NPR 99.99 lakhs.
Powerful dual-motor performance
This electric pickup comes with two motors — 125 kW in the front and 200 kW in the rear — producing a massive 700 Nm torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds. The top speed of the eT90 is 190 km/h.
Battery and driving range
The eT90 is equipped with a large 102.2 kWh LFP battery pack. It offers a range of up to 560 km on a single charge, based on the NEDC standard. With a fast charger, the battery can be charged from 20% to 80% in just 42 minutes.
Built for all terrains
It features electronic air suspension and a ground clearance of 260 mm. Multiple driving modes are available, making it capable of handling different types of road conditions.
Luxury and technology inside
The interior comes with heated, ventilated, and massaging dual-tone leather seats with memory function. It also features dual 12.3-inch digital displays, a wireless charging floating center console, panoramic sunroof, rear AC vents, and ambient lighting — offering a premium in-cabin experience.

The Maxus eT90 has received a 5-star safety rating from Euro NCAP. It includes over 20 advanced safety features such as 9 airbags, 360-degree cameras, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, AEB, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, TPMS, and auto-hold.
