Aamir Khan Collaborates with Lokesh Kanagaraj for a Superhero Film
In a recent group interaction, Aamir revealed a major collaboration that has fans buzzing. The actor confirmed he is teaming up with popular Tamil filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj—marking their first-ever project together.
“Lokesh and I are working on a film. It’s a superhero film, a large-scale action project, and we’re looking to begin in the second half of next year,” Aamir shared. “It’s still two years away, so I can’t reveal too much right now.”
Lokesh Kanagaraj, known for directing Tamil blockbusters like Vikram, Leo, Kaithi, and Master, will be stepping into Bollywood for the first time with this big-budget venture.
No Truth to PK 2 Rumors, Dadasaheb Phalke Film in the Works
Addressing the swirling rumors about a sequel to PK, Aamir denied any involvement. “I don’t know anything about PK 2,” he clarified. However, he did confirm working on a film centered around Dadasaheb Phalke, the father of Indian cinema, along with director Rajkumar Hirani. “That project is definitely happening,” he added.
Mahabharata: Aamir’s Long-Nurtured Dream
Aamir also opened up about Mahabharata, the project he has often described as his most ambitious dream. “I’ve been dreaming about making Mahabharata for the past 25 years,” he said. “It’s not just a film, it’s like performing a yagna. It requires immense preparation, which I’m still working on.”
He remained tight-lipped about the casting and timelines, stating that the project is still in a very early stage. “Until I lay a solid foundation, I can’t speak much. It’s a long journey,” he said.
With multiple ambitious projects on the horizon and Sitaare Zameen Par just weeks away from release, Aamir Khan seems poised for a powerful comeback to cinema.
