Two men in Biratnagar have been arrested for posing as police officers and robbing a man by holding him hostage. The suspects, Samir Hussain (24) and Ashif Ansari (27), allegedly stopped a man near a rice mill in Biratnagar-13, claiming to be from the Morang District Police. They forced the victim onto a scooter, took him to a secluded spot in Jatuwa, and robbed him of NPR 364,000 by threatening him. The robbery occurred on Wednesday morning, and based on the victim’s complaint, police arrested the duo. The court has granted an extension for their custody as the investigation continues.
