A woman who had been on the run in connection with a banking fraud case has been arrested.
Sarala Neupane, a 52-year-old resident of Shantinagar, Vyas Municipality-10, Tanahun, and currently living in Gokulthar, Budhanilkantha-8, was arrested by police on Monday.
She had been absconding after a warrant for her arrest was issued by the Lalitpur District Court on Asar 4, 2082. Acting on that warrant, a team from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, Teku, apprehended her from Budhanilkantha-8.
She has now been sent to the Lalitpur District Police Office for further investigation and legal action.
