Two young boys tragically lost their lives while swimming in the Mura Khola in Sunsari district on Saturday afternoon.
Victims
- Yunish Khatri (9), son of Ramesh Khatri from Itahari-16
- Hem Bahadur Pariyar (also known as Bisu Pariyar, 11), son of Buddhi Pariyar from Itahari-5
Both boys drowned while swimming in a deep section (dah) of the river.Locals and authorities rescued the boys and rushed them to Sanvi City Hospital in Itahari, but doctors declared them dead on arrival.Their bodies have been sent to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan for postmortem, according to the Sunsari District Police Office.
