SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi and Woozi to Start Military Service This September

SEVENTEEN members Hoshi and Woozi will soon begin their mandatory military service, announced their agency PLEDIS Entertainment. The two idols are set to enlist in September 2025 and will take a break from group activities during their service. Woozi will join the Army as an active-duty soldier on September 15, while Hoshi will start his service the next day, September 16.

Before leaving, Hoshi and Woozi will hold their final official events, including the “HOSHI X WOOZI FAN CONCERT [WARNING]” and a video call fansign event for SEVENTEEN’s fifth full album, SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN.

PLEDIS Entertainment asked fans not to visit the military training center as the entrance ceremony will be private and shared with many families. Instead, fans are encouraged to send messages of support through Weverse. The agency also assured that Hoshi and Woozi prepared pre-recorded content to stay connected with CARATs during their absence.

Fans have been sharing heartfelt messages online, wishing the members safety and success during their service. Hoshi and Woozi will be the third and fourth SEVENTEEN members to enlist, following Jeonghan and Wonwoo.
