Fans of the Star Wars universe are buzzing with excitement after the first glimpse of Ezra Bridger in Ahsoka Season 2 was recently shared online. Played by Eman Esfandi, Ezra’s new look shows a clean-shaven face and shorter hair, bringing the character closer to his original appearance in the animated series Star Wars Rebels. This update hints at a return to Ezra’s roots as he re-enters the fight against Grand Admiral Thrawn.

Esfandi has also shared a video on Instagram showing off his impressive lightsaber skills, adding fuel to the growing anticipation for the upcoming season. Filming for Season 2 began in March 2025 and is still underway, promising a bigger and deeper storyline for fans to enjoy.

Season 2 will continue to follow Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) and Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) on the mysterious planet Peridea, with Ezra Bridger playing a larger role within the New Republic. The season will bring back familiar faces such as Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, and Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn. Additionally, Admiral Ackbar will make an appearance, and Rory McCann from Game of Thrones will take on the role of Baylan Skoll, following the late Ray Stevenson.

With a talented cast, exciting plot developments, and production in full swing, Ahsoka Season 2 is shaping up to be a highly anticipated addition to the Star Wars saga. Fans can look forward to its release on Disney+ in 2026.
