Currently promoting his much-awaited comeback film Sitaare Zameen Par, Aamir revealed in an exclusive chat with Zoom that he’s doing a special cameo in Coolie, and the decision was an instant yes. “You’re putting me in a tough spot,” Aamir laughed when asked about the role. “Yes, I am doing a cameo in Lokesh’s Coolie. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Working with Rajini sir—what can I say? I’m a huge fan. I admire him deeply.”
So strong is Aamir’s admiration that he agreed to the role before hearing a single line of the script. “When Lokesh mentioned Coolie and Rajini sir, I just said, ‘Done, I’m in!’ I didn’t even ask about the story,” he confessed.
But that’s not all—Aamir and Lokesh Kanagaraj aren’t stopping at Coolie. The duo is set to collaborate on a full-fledged film after Lokesh wraps up Kaithi 2. “Yes, we’re doing a proper film together next year,” Aamir confirmed.
