In Gaushala, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-8, a serious accident involving eight vehicles occurred, leaving multiple people injured. The crash happened around noon when a bus from Baba Gokarneshwar Transport lost control while heading from Gaushala to Tilganga. This caused a chain reaction collision with seven other vehicles including cars, motorcycles, and a van.
Police spokesperson SP Apilraj Bohara confirmed the incident and said injured victims were quickly rescued and taken to KMC Hospital for treatment. The bus driver fled the scene after the accident.
Among those injured are Rajkumar Shrestha (32) from Dhading, riding a motorcycle; Vikas Kattel (22) from Nuwakot; and Shailendra Rai (37) from Khotang, also on motorcycles.

- Motorcycle (प्र-२-०१-००३ प १००५) driven by 37-year-old Shailendra Rai from Koteshwor, Kathmandu
- Motorcycle (बा ५१ प २२) driven by 32-year-old Rajkumar Shrestha from Tokha, Kathmandu
- Scooter (बा.प्र-०२-०४६ प ४८१९) driven by 19-year-old Smita Dhungel from Bhaktapur
