Actor Srikanth Questioned in Drug Probe After Former AIADMK Member Names Him

Tamil and Telugu actor Srikanth, also known as Sriram in Telugu cinema, is currently under police investigation in connection with a drug-related case. According to a report by Asianet News, a former AIADMK member who was arrested following a bar brawl and drug charges has implicated the actor in the case.

The incident began after a fight erupted at a bar in Nugambakkam, leading to the arrest of the former AIADMK member, Prasad, on allegations of drug consumption. During police questioning, Prasad reportedly admitted to supplying drugs, including cocaine, to Srikanth. Reports from News18 Tamil suggest that authorities are probing whether Srikanth purchased about one gram of cocaine for ₹12,000.

The police will decide on further action depending on the results of these tests. As of now, Srikanth has not been formally charged in the case. The investigation is ongoing, and more updates are expected.
