Veteran Bollywood actor Anupam Kher was taken aback when his X (formerly Twitter) account was unexpectedly locked. Despite following platform rules since joining in 2007, his account was flagged due to a Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) notice.
After the account was restored, Anupam expressed his confusion in a post addressed to X owner Elon Musk, asking for clarification. He wrote, “Dear X! Even though my account has been restored, I was surprised to see it locked. I have always been mindful of social media copyright rules. Could you tell me which post violated the platform’s guidelines? Thanks! @elonmusk.”
As of now, Elon Musk has not responded to the inquiry.
Anupam Kher’s Upcoming Projects
On the work front, Anupam was last seen in Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency, which depicts the 1975-77 Emergency period under Indira Gandhi’s rule. He recently announced his next untitled film with Prabhas, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by Mythri Movie Makers—marking his 544th film.
Additionally, he will be seen in Vikram Bhatt’s Tumko Meri Kasam, alongside Ishwak Singh, Adah Sharma, and Esha Deol. The movie is reportedly inspired by the life of Dr. Ajay Murdia, founder of the Indira IVF fertility clinic chain.
