Dr. Bindu Nath Lohani has been appointed as the Vice Chancellor of Nepal University.
According to the provisions of the University of Nepal Act, 2081, Lohani has been appointed to the position for a term of 4 years.
Dr. Lohani completed his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a gold medal from Birla Institute of Technology, India, in 1970. He then went on to earn his Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of North Carolina, USA, in 1974. In 1977, he obtained his Ph.D. in Environmental Technology and Management from the Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok.
