The 30th edition of the Computer Association of Nepal (CAN Federation) Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Exhibition, ‘CAN Infotech 2025,’ has officially begun today at Bhrikutimandap. The event was inaugurated on February 6, 2025, with a ceremony held at the National Assembly Hall, where the CAN Federation shared details about the exhibition.
The opening ceremony was marked by a ribbon-cutting led by CAN Federation President Sunaina Pandey Ghimire and Dr. Dilip Subba, Vice-Chairman of the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST). President Ghimire described CAN Infotech as a major gathering for the IT community, akin to a “Kumbh Mela” for technology. She highlighted that both businesses and students will have the opportunity to showcase their technologies, while attendees can explore and purchase the latest and most futuristic ICT tools all in one place.
The exhibition also provides companies in the tech sector with the chance to expand their market, understand customer needs, launch new products, and build stronger relationships with clients.
The exhibition will run until February 28, 2025, and features a diverse range of participants, including members of the CAN Federation and various national and international ICT companies. Additionally, student projects and software developed by local colleges are on display.
Visitors can attend the exhibition by paying a fee of 100 rupees for the general public and 50 rupees for students. Senior citizens and students from schools will be granted free entry to the event.
