The prestigious recognition was presented by Bridge India at the House of Commons in the UK on March 19. Expressing his gratitude, Chiranjeevi took to Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) to share moments from the event, calling it an “honour” to receive such an esteemed accolade.

While Chiranjeevi is a celebrated name in the film industry, this award particularly acknowledges his philanthropic contributions. Over the years, he has dedicated himself to various humanitarian causes, making a significant impact through his charitable initiatives. Reflecting on Chiranjeevi’s rise to stardom from humble beginnings, he wrote, “Starting life as the son of an ordinary middle-class excise constable, with his own strength and the blessings of his artistic mother, he rose to become a megastar in the film industry, entertaining fans all over the world for four and a half decades. Winning 9 Filmfare Awards and 3 Nandi Awards, he became synonymous with acting.”
Pawan Kalyan also expressed deep admiration for Chiranjeevi, referring to him as more than just an elder brother. “I will always be proud to be born as his younger brother. I consider Chiranjeevi garu more like a father than an elder brother. He is the person who showed me the way when I was confused and did not know what to do in life. My elder brother Chiranjeevi garu is the hero of my life,” he wrote.
