Diljit Dosanjh Exits No Entry 2 Over Creative Differences, Final Cast Still Unconfirmed

Fans were thrilled when news broke that Diljit Dosanjh would be joining the cast of No Entry 2, the much-anticipated sequel to the 2005 comedy hit. But there’s now a twist that has left many disappointed — the singer-actor has reportedly exited the project.

According to Filmfare, Diljit was initially excited about sharing the screen with Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor. However, creative differences seem to have led him to step away. A source revealed, “Diljit was very excited to collaborate with Varun and Arjun, but over the past few weeks, he couldn’t align with the film’s creative vision. That’s why he decided to leave.”

No Entry 2, directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Boney Kapoor, is still on track for a late 2025 release. But with Diljit’s exit, the final cast lineup remains uncertain. When asked about the development, director Anees Bazmee chose not to comment, saying, “I will not be able to speak about the matter right now. It’s better if you reach out to Boney for the same.” As of now, Boney Kapoor has not responded.

The sequel is rumored to star Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor in the lead roles, with Tamannaah Bhatia possibly joining the cast. Her role is believed to be similar to Bipasha Basu’s character from the original film, though no official confirmation has been made.

The first No Entry, released in 2005, featured Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan. It followed the chaotic adventures of two married men whose lives are turned upside down by their flirtatious friend. With comedy, confusion, and plenty of mix-ups, the film became a massive hit.

Now, with the sequel in the works and fans hoping for another dose of laughter, all eyes are on the makers for an official update on the final cast.
