Eni Kunwar Arrested in Connection with Journalist's Death During Tinkune Protest

The police investigating the violent royalist protest in Tinkune have arrested Eni Kunwar in connection with the crime.

A video had surfaced on social media showing her descending from the building where journalist Suresh Rajak was found dead. “The journalist died there, and she was seen descending around the same time,” said an official from the Valley Crime Investigation Office. “That’s why we’ve brought her in for questioning.”

The police have also accused her of unauthorized entry into someone else’s residence. The violent protest led by Durga Prasai on Chaitra 15 resulted in the death of two people and injuries to 20 others from police gunfire.

In connection with the incident, Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) leaders Rabindra Mishra, Dhawal Shumsher Rana, among others, are in custody, while Prasai remains at large.
