Fans Push Jung Hae In to Unfollow Kim Soo Hyun After Im Si Wan’s IG Reset

Kim Soo Hyun recently appeared on G-Dragon’s music variety show Good Day along with his friends from the 1988-born celebrity group—Jung Hae In, Im Si Wan, Lee Soo Hyuk, and Hwang Kwang Hee. Jung Hae In and Im Si Wan were specially invited because of their close friendship with Kim Soo Hyun, as they have even gone on vacations together. However, things changed when Kim Soo Hyun became involved in a dating controversy with minor actress Kim Sae Ron. Since then, both the show and his friends have been under public pressure to distance themselves from him.

A surprising move came from Squid Game 2 star Im Si Wan, who unfollowed all 80 accounts he previously followed on Instagram—except for his agency, Plum A&C—on April 2 at 9 AM KST. Fans quickly speculated that he did this because of repeated comments asking him to unfollow Kim Soo Hyun. Some believed he didn’t want to single out just one person, so he decided to clear his entire following list. Meanwhile, Love Next Door actor Jung Hae In, who also received similar requests, continues to follow Kim Soo Hyun.

Now that Im Si Wan has taken action, some fans are urging Jung Hae In to do the same. Others have even threatened to boycott the works of actors who remain close to Kim Soo Hyun. However, not everyone agrees with this pressure. Some fans defended Jung Hae In’s decision, saying, “It’s his personal life, leave him alone,” while others encouraged him to unfollow Kim Soo Hyun “for his own good.”

Earlier, Im Si Wan’s social media activity also received mixed reactions. While some supported his decision, others felt that personal relationships shouldn’t be controlled by public opinion.
