One person was killed, and two others were injured in a vehicle accident at Jakhouli, Hariharpurgadhi Rural Municipality-2, Sindhuli.
The accident occurred on Sunday evening when a Bolero vehicle (Na.3 Cha 5976) lost control and crashed. Local resident Kailash Rai, aged 20, who was traveling in the vehicle, lost his life in the incident.
According to the District Police Office, Sindhuli, Rai succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at Chure Hill Hospital in Hetauda.
Two others injured in the accident are receiving treatment at a local polyclinic in Jhanjhane.
The police have taken the vehicle driver into custody and are conducting further investigations.
