The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has announced that preparations for the upcoming four-nation international women’s football tournament are complete. The tournament will be held at Dasharath Stadium from February 17, with teams competing in a round-robin format. The top two teams will play in the final match.
Nepal, Myanmar, Lebanon, and Kyrgyzstan will participate in the tournament, marking the first time Nepal is hosting such an event. Kyrgyzstan is set to arrive in Kathmandu on February 13, while the other teams will reach Nepal on February 14. ANFA has arranged training facilities at the ANFA Complex and the Nepal Army’s Bhadrakali ground.
Brand Logic has secured the broadcasting and ticketing rights for the tournament. The ticketing rights were sold for NPR 13.5 million, while the broadcasting rights were sold for NPR 6.6 million. ANFA will sell 10,500 general tickets and 750 VIP tickets, with prices set at NPR 500 and NPR 1,000, respectively.
Khalti will serve as the official ticketing partner for the event. ANFA estimates the total cost of organizing the tournament to be around NPR 25 million.
