Veteran Nepali actor and storyteller Haribansha Acharya is all set to appear as a special guest at the Nepal America Film Festival 2025, scheduled to take place in Maryland, USA from June 26 to 29.
Festival Opens with ‘Shambala’ and Closes with ‘Rajaganj’
This year’s edition of the festival will kick off with the screening of ‘Shambala’, directed by Min Bahadur Bham, and will conclude with ‘Rajaganj’, directed by Deepak Rauniyar.
Acharya’s Film ‘Bhutan’ to Premiere in the U.S.
Acharya will participate in both the opening and closing ceremonies, and most notably, he will attend the U.S. premiere of his film ‘Bhutan’. Audiences will also have the chance to interact with the actor during a special Q&A session following the screening.
Fireside Chat with Haribansha Acharya
As part of the festival, a fireside chat will be organized at Brentwood Arts Exchange, where Acharya will reflect on his creative journey, his contributions to Nepali cinema and literature, and discuss the global potential of Nepali storytelling.

Speaking about his involvement, Acharya said,
