Bir Bahadur Dhami of Dahabagar Health Post under Bungal Municipality-1, Bajhang, has passed away. Dhami, who had been contributing to the health sector for a long time, passed away on Wednesday morning due to cancer.
He received a permanent appointment in 2052 BS and began providing health services from Surma Health Post. Since 2054 BS, he had been serving at Dahabagar Health Post.
From 2074 BS, Dhami took charge as the Health Branch Coordinator of Bungel Municipality. Later, from 2076 BS to Mangsir 2081 BS, he served as the in-charge of Dahabagar Health Post.
Dhami had been residing in Attariya, Godawari Municipality-2. Following his demise due to prolonged cancer, Bungel Municipality has decided to declare a mourning holiday on Chaitra 1 in all offices and health posts under its jurisdiction.
Remembering his contributions, locals and health workers have expressed deep sorrow.
