For the first time in 15 years, Heathrow International Airport is completely closed. The shutdown happened on Friday after a massive fire broke out at a nearby electrical substation, which supplies power to the airport.

According to the BBC, at least 1,351 flights were canceled. The fire also disrupted electricity supply to more than 4,900 homes, and 150 people were rescued from areas near the substation. The exact cause of the fire is still unknown.

The last time Heathrow Airport was fully closed was in 2010. Back then, volcanic ash in the atmosphere caused major flight disruptions.
