The owner of a jeep has died after falling from the vehicle in Doti.
According to the police, 34-year-old Gyanendra Bahadur Bohara lost his life after falling from a Bolero jeep with registration number SuPra Pa-01-001 Ch 4118, which was traveling from Dipayal towards Adarsha Rural Municipality in Tikha, Silgadhi Municipality-1.
Bohara was the owner of the jeep. A resident of Kucheda, Adarsha Rural Municipality-2, he was seated at the back of the vehicle when he fell onto the road. He was injured and taken to Shaileshwari Hospital for treatment, but he succumbed to his injuries during treatment, as per police reports.
The police have taken the jeep and its driver, 23-year-old Biraj Bhatt from Nuwakot, Adarsha Rural Municipality-3, into custody for further investigation.
