Kanye West has revealed a new Sean John collaboration, saying the deal was made with Sean “Diddy” Combs before his arrest. The 47-year-old rapper took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce that the profits from the collaboration would be split equally between him and the troubled music mogul.
“I’m selling the Sean John collaboration that me and my brother talked about before they locked him up. We’re splitting the profits 50/50,” Ye wrote on X on Friday.
The limited-edition merch, consisting of T-shirts in red, white, and blue, is available on Yeezy.com.
Ye’s announcement came after a series of tweets on Thursday night, including a direct plea to former President Donald Trump: “@realDonaldTrump PLEASE FREE MY BROTHER PUFF.”
Diddy, who is currently facing sex trafficking and racketeering charges, was recently moved from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, to a hospital due to knee pain. According to TMZ, the 54-year-old music mogul needed an MRI because of ongoing knee issues caused by his participation in the New York City Marathon. His trial is set for May.
Meanwhile, Ye continued his online rants, posting about various topics, including “woke shit” and his opinions on how the music industry has treated Chris Brown.
Although it’s unclear what sparked Ye’s latest social media outburst, his strong support for Diddy comes amid increasing speculation about the mogul’s legal troubles and how they might affect his legacy.
