Famous comedian Kedar Ghimire, also called ‘Magne Budha’, has denied the claim that he was paid Rs 61 lakh for his role in the movie Magne Raja.

Kedar calls the producer’s claim false
At a press event for Mrs. Nepal World in Lalitpur, Kedar told reporters that the producer’s claim about his payment is not true. He said it is just a fake story made to cause trouble.
He even said that if anyone can prove he got Rs 61 lakh, he will give that person the same amount.
Unhappy with film’s director, producer, and writer
Kedar Ghimire also shared that he is unhappy with the movie’s director Rishi Lamichhane, producer Munal Ghimire, and writer Samipyaraj Timilsina.
He said the producer often exaggerates payment details, which made him feel uncomfortable and troubled.
The director, according to Kedar, created a fake fight about the payment during an interview with journalists to make the film more popular.
Writer’s article upset Kedar
Kedar was also upset with the writer Samipyaraj Timilsina. The writer had offered Kedar the role and said he wrote the script thinking about him. But later, Timilsina wrote an article saying the actor was paid a big amount, which confused Kedar.
When Kedar asked why he wrote that, the writer said it was his job as a journalist.
False rumors affected Kedar personally
Kedar feels that these false stories about his payment have affected him personally. He is worried that this kind of news might harm his career as a professional actor.
