A 23-year-old man has been arrested on charges of raping a 17-year-old girl.
Nabin Rawal, residing in Syafrubesi, Gosainkunda Rural Municipality-5, Rasuwa, and originally from Musikot Municipality-1, Rukum West, was arrested by the police on Saturday afternoon.
He was arrested by a police team deployed from the Syafrubesi Police Station in Rasuwa based on a complaint alleging that Rawal had forcibly raped the girl.
The police have initiated an investigation against the arrested Rawal on charges of rape.
