A man died after falling from a cliff while fishing in the Karnali River in Bajura.
According to the police, Puse Bhandari, around 40 years old, from Swamikartik Khapar Rural Municipality-2, Phayal village, fell from a cliff and died on Sunday evening.
Inspector Dev Bahadur Chaudhary from the District Police Office confirmed that Bhandari died on the spot after the fall. However, the police have not yet reached the location where his body is.
A police team led by Inspector Lokraj Awasthi from Juddi Police Post and Kolti Area Police Office has been sent to the site.
Crossing the river is difficult since the body is on the other side of the Karnali River. Efforts are being made to arrange a boat or tube to reach the body.
