A person has died due to electrocution in Gorkha.
Hari BK, a 27-year-old man, died after being electrocuted while working on Dish Home Fiber Net and climbing an electric pole, according to the District Police Office, Gorkha.
He was a resident of Arughat Rural Municipality-6, Kalleri. “At around 7:30 AM on Sunday, he climbed an electric pole in Gorkha Municipality-7, Mandredhunga, to fix the internet cable when the pole suddenly became electrified,” said Police Inspector Dhruva Sharma. “He collapsed due to electrocution, and although he was taken to Gorkha Hospital, doctors declared him dead.”
The police have stated that further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
