In Ratamate, Nagarjun Municipality-3, a man has been killed by his nephew.
According to police, 45-year-old Santosh Majhi, originally from Phikkal Rural Municipality-5, Sindhuli, and living in Ratamate, was killed by his own nephew.
Police have arrested 28-year-old Suraj Tamang, who also lives in the same area, for the murder.
Reports say that Suraj hit Santosh with an iron pipe, killing him on the spot. Police from the Swayambhu station arrested Suraj shortly after the incident.
Police are now preparing to investigate him under charges of homicide and have taken permission from the court on Sunday to keep him in custody during the investigation.
