Mrunal Thakur and Mouni Roy Light Up Glasgow Streets with Dance and Friendship

Bollywood actresses Mrunal Thakur and Mouni Roy turned the streets of Glasgow into their dance floor during a recent visit to Scotland. The duo, who are co-starring in the upcoming film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, delighted fans with an impromptu dance performance they shared on Instagram.

The reel begins with Mouni Roy singing the soulful Bengali track Songo Chhara Kore Sokhi, originally by Sarojini Ghosh and later covered by Aditi Chakraborty. As she danced to the melody, she coached Mrunal through the graceful steps. The fun-filled clip ended with the pair laughing, as Mouni said, “Later, we will do, chalo,” before walking off together.

Mrunal couldn’t hide her admiration and appreciation for Mouni. In their joint post, she expressed gratitude, writing, “Thank you for making my Glasgow trip so wonderful and memorable! I’ve learned so much from you @imouniroy, and I already miss you.” She acknowledged the impromptu nature of the shoot, adding, “Although we didn’t get to shoot this with a better setup and choreography, I think this take is beautiful.”

“You’re not just teaching me, you’re helping me bring out my best,” Mrunal continued. “I’m grateful to have you, mwahhhhhh!”

Mouni’s response was equally touching. “I love you and am very grateful to have you in my life. Never letting you go,” she wrote, sealing the message with heart emojis.

Fans flooded the comments with love and praise. One wrote, “Two TV queens now ruling Bollywood—what a moment!” Another called them “expression queens lighting up Glasgow with their graceful moves.” A follower added, “Cutest friendship ever! Mouni, your voice is pure magic.”

The actresses are part of an ensemble cast in Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, directed by David Dhawan. The film also stars Varun Dhawan, Pooja Hegde, Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Shergill, Chunkey Panday, Rakesh Bedi, and Ali Asgar.

As the reel continues to win hearts online, fans are eagerly awaiting more on-screen magic from this vibrant duo.
