NEPSE Rises by 28.91 Points, Turnover Hits NPR 4.43 Billion

The NEPSE index, which measures share trading activity, increased by 28.91 points to reach 2,612.20 on Monday. This rise comes after three consecutive days of decline in the market. On the day, the share prices of 194 companies went up, 41 companies saw a drop, and the remaining 9 companies stayed unchanged.

In 55,938 transactions, a total of 8.9 million shares were traded, amounting to a turnover of NPR 4.43 billion. The trading volume and turnover were higher compared to the previous day.

Out of the 13 subgroups that participated in the trading, all except the mutual fund sector witnessed an increase in their indices, contributing to the overall growth of NEPSE.
