The NEPSE index, which measures share trading, increased by 4.19 points. NEPSE rose by 0.15% to close at 2,630.71 points.
The share prices of 70 companies increased, while 163 companies saw a decline, and 9 companies remained stable. Today, a total of shares worth NPR 5.32 billion were traded through 61,839 transactions.
A total of 20.97 million shares were traded. Out of 13 sub-indices, only four recorded gains, while the rest declined.
The gaining sub-indices included Banking, Investment, Microfinance, and Trading. Meanwhile, the declining sub-indices included Development Bank, Hotels and Tourism, Hydropower, and Non-Life Insurance, among others.
