Rashmika Mandanna is gearing up for her upcoming film The Girlfriend. Last week, the first song from the movie, Nadhive, was released. This slow and emotional track beautifully shows feelings of love and longing through expressive dance and stunning visuals.
The music video quickly became popular online. Recently, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu and actor Vennela Kishore joined the fun by recreating the main dance from Nadhive. Director Rahul Ravindran shared a video on Instagram featuring Samantha and Vennela performing the choreography with playful energy. Composed and sung by Hesham Abdul Wahab, Nadhive features Rashmika and co-star Dheekshith Shetty performing a modern dance on a unique set. The song was released in five languages and has already crossed 12 million views. Fans have praised the actors for their hard work learning the new dance style, which includes coordinated moves, jumps, and lifts.
The Girlfriend marks director Rahul Ravindran’s comeback after Manmadhudu 2. The teaser, released on Rashmika’s birthday, hints at a complex female lead with Rashmika in the spotlight. The film is produced by Dheeraj Mogilineni and Vidya Koppineedi, with cinematography by Krishnan Vasant, and presented by Allu Aravind under the Geetha Arts banner. The release date is yet to be announced.
Rashmika was last seen in Kuberaa, where she received praise for her role. Dheekshith Shetty recently appeared in Dasara and several other ensemble films.
