A tractor accident in Khallachaur, Chandanath Municipality-7, Jumla, claimed the life of Jokhi Sarki, 48, while four others sustained injuries.
The accident took place on Monday night as the tractor (Lu 2 Ta 1115) was heading from the airport area to Chandanath-9 Taliunmat. Jokhi Sarki died during treatment at the Karnali Academy of Health Sciences, according to ASI Rohit Rasaili.
Those injured include Debu Sarki (29), Mainamurli Sarki (35), Ranga Sarki (48), and tractor driver Santosh Sarki (22). All are receiving treatment at the same hospital, and their condition is said to be stable.
