Actor Vishnu Vishal and badminton champion Jwala Gutta have introduced their newborn daughter to the world—and revealed that the name “Mira” was chosen by none other than Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan.
In a joyful Instagram post, Vishnu shared a family photo featuring himself, Jwala, their son Aryan, Aamir Khan, and baby Mira. All of them smiled warmly as they looked at the baby.
“Introducing our MIRA… A big hug to #AamirKhan sir for coming all the way to Hyderabad to name our baby,” Vishnu captioned.
He also expressed what the name means to them:
“MIRA represents unconditional love and peace. The journey with Aamir sir to this point has been a magical one… @jwalagutta1 (heart eyes emoji). Thank you Aamir sir for giving our daughter a beautiful name.”
Baby girl born on their wedding anniversary
Vishnu and Jwala’s baby girl was born in April 2025, on a very special date—their fourth wedding anniversary. Vishnu had earlier written on Instagram,
“We are blessed with a BABY GIRL.. Aryan is an elder brother now… It’s our 4th wedding anniversary today… On the same day, we welcome this gift from the Almighty…(heart eyes emoji). Need all your love and blessings….@jwalagutta1.”
The couple’s journey together
The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in Hyderabad in 2021. Their relationship became public after Vishnu shared a heartfelt birthday post for Jwala in 2020, where he called it a “new start to life.” They got engaged in September 2020.
“Let’s be positive and work towards a better future for us, Aryan, our families, friends and people around,” he had posted.
Their past relationships
Before finding love with each other, both had previous marriages. Vishnu was married to Rajini Natraj from 2010 to 2018, while Jwala was earlier married to fellow badminton player Chetan Anand from 2005 until 2011.
