A young man has been murdered in Rupandehi. The body of 29-year-old Rakesh Singh Lodh, a resident of Mayadevi Rural Municipality-2, was found on Thursday morning, according to the police.
DSP Suraj Karki, the spokesperson for the District Police Office, Rupandehi, stated that the victim had severe head injuries and that the area where the body was found was bloodstained, suggesting that it was a murder, as per the initial investigation.
DSP Karki also mentioned that the deceased lived alone at his home. He provided further details that investigations into the incident are ongoing.
Locals informed that they had heard a loud noise in the morning at the crime scene, leading DSP Karki to suggest that the murder might have been carried out with a gunshot.
