A patient who jumped from the third floor of Seti Provincial Hospital has died.
The man, 63-year-old Chakra Bahadur Singh from Godawari Municipality, jumped from the hospital building on Tuesday afternoon. He was seriously injured and died at 3 PM while being treated in the emergency room, according to hospital spokesperson Kishor Shrestha.
Singh was suffering from kidney problems and had been receiving dialysis at the hospital. He had been admitted to the medical ward for treatment on Monday, after being in the hospital since Baisakh 15 (April 27).
According to the hospital, Singh was with his wife, Ishwari Devi Kuruwal. He told her he was going out for a moment, but suddenly jumped from the third floor.
