Police have seized 946 kilograms of marijuana being loaded onto a truck in Ward 5 of Chaubise Rural Municipality.
The marijuana was found on Monday morning while it was being loaded onto the truck.
According to DSP Om Prakash Khanal, 38 sacks of marijuana (946 kg) were found in plastic bags inside the truck with registration number Na 5 Kha 6157.
Police have arrested 43-year-old Manoj Limbu for investigation in connection with the drugs. They are also searching for the truck driver, who is currently on the run.
